Welcome to Council Grants 2022-2023
Council recognises that supporting eligible organisations, groups and individuals with financial (grants, sponsorship) and non-financial (in-kind) assistance helps develop and deliver community programs, activities and events that provide artistic, cultural, sporting, recreational, environmental outcomes, and social and economic benefits to the Shire.
Eligible applicants are invited to apply for funding under the Council Grants Program for projects commencing in this financial year under the following streams:
* Until funding allocations exhausted
# A subsequent round may be offered if funding not fully allocated in Round One
Micro Grants are open year round until funding allocations are exhausted.
Council’s Major Grant Round for 2022-2023 has now closed. Council’s Major Grant Round for 2023-2024 will open in August 2023

Read through the guidelines before completing an application to check eligibility criteria, eligible projects and other requirements for the Council Grants Program.

Applicants are also encouraged to read:
- Outcome Report (so you are aware of the acquittal requirements should your application be successful)
- Douglas Shire Council’s Plans, Strategies and Policies, relevant to your project.

If you are looking to apply to other funding programs, under Federal or State Governments or Philanthropic organisations, Council may be able to assist by providing a letter of support. Please complete the Council Letter of Support Request form and return at least 10 business days before required.
