F5F Event Calendar

First 5 Forever is an initiative of the Queensland Government, coordinated by State Library of Queensland and delivered in partnership with local government.

The first 5 years of a child’s life set vital foundations for their future. Babies and young children learn everyday and the best way for them to do this is by listening and interacting with YOU – the important adults in their lives.

The First 5 Forever program at Douglas Shire Libraries is here to support families in this exciting learning journey. We have four different events we host in the shire each month to cater to every age group and to provide a range of fun and interactive sessions focused on early literacy.

We hold Baby Rhyme Time every Wednesday and cycle through our other events – Music and Song, Story Time, and Play Date – on Thursdays.

ALL our sessions are FREE! You can call us on 4099 9496 for more information.
