Douglas Shire Council Mayor, Julia Leu, has encouraged all residents to take part in a Community Satisfaction Survey initiated by Council.
“As Mayor, I am always keen to hear from the communities of Douglas and your thoughts on what we are doing well and what we can do better,” Mayor Leu said.
“To find out more, we have asked Market Facts, a Queensland Market Research Company, to conduct a Community Satisfaction Survey on Council’s behalf,” she said.
“Market Facts began making phone calls to residents on 12 August to ask about a range of Council responsibilities, including delivery of services, infrastructure management, community lifestyle services, Shire management, customer services and communications.
“Participants must be permanent residents of Douglas Shire, aged 18 years or over.
“In addition to the phone survey, there is also an online survey available to all that takes just five to eight minutes. It can be completed online at https://douglas.qld.gov.au/community-satisfaction-survey/
“I do invite all residents to take part to provide feedback and comments — Council looks forward to hearing from you,” Mayor Leu said.
