Introduction
Douglas Shire Council is Trustee for Lot 94 on Crown Plan SR257 Rex Creek Mossman Gorge.
The primary purpose is a Reserve for Water Purposes.
Secondary uses, inconsistent with the primary purpose, require a Land Management Plan to be prepared, incorporating the inconsistent uses.
Secondary use, under a Trustee Lease to the Indigenous Land and Sea Corporation uses existing walking tracks in conjunction with the Mossman Gorge Cultural Centre and a radio communications tower.
The previous Land Management Plan for this site has been updated, and this Draft Land Management Plan is now available for public feedback.

The draft Land Management Plan may be viewed on Council’s website, Council’s Administration Centre 64-66 Front Street Mossman and Customer Service Office at Port Douglas Community Hall Mowbray Street Port Douglas from Wednesday 28 August 2024.
