Douglas Shire Mayor Michael Kerr officially welcomed 19 new Aussies at the Mossman Shire Hall today.
The new Aussies hailed from a range of countries including Northern Ireland, Cook Islands, Italy, United Kingdom, South Korea, Madagascar, France, Bangladesh, Japan and Scotland.
It was the first live Citizenship Ceremony held since COVID-19.
New citizens received a certificate and native plant from the Mossman Nursery.
