The Port Douglas Public Wharf is located between the Sugar Wharf and the public boat ramp.
Douglas Shire Council has contracted Hunter Carpentry to replace the deteriorating timber walers on the wharf. The walers will be replaced with pre-oiled White Mahogany.
The public pontoon will be closed to all vessels and pedestrians from 7am Monday 5 December through to 5pm Friday 9 December 2022.
If you have any concerns about the work or any questions, please contact our Community Liaison Officer, Gaye on email@example.com or telephone 4099 9414.
