Port Douglas Water Supply Interruption – Grant & Murphy Streets

Douglas Shire Council advises that its Water Reticulation Team will be carrying out essential maintenance and repairs to fire hydrants in Port Douglas as part of the town’s fire safety network.
Affected Areas
Properties on:
- Grant Street
- Murphy Street
- some surrounding areas
may experience reduced water pressure and flow while works are underway.
What to Expect
Residents and businesses may notice:
- Reduced water pressure
- Reduced water flow
- Minor fluctuations in water supply during the works period
Council crews will work to complete the maintenance as quickly as possible and restore normal service once works are complete.
