Pathway Construction
St Crispins Ave and Endeavour Street
Douglas Shire Council has been successful in securing funds to design and construct a shared pathway along the southern side of St Crispins Ave from Agincourt Street to extend around the corner into Endeavour to meet up with the crossing.
Construction Program
- Site preparation will start this Wednesday 4 September and is expected to take two weeks.
- Any plants or gardens beds on the road reserve will need to be removed back to the property boundary. Please relocate any plants you would like to keep by Monday 9 September.
- Council crews will be doing this work and will replace any existing edging – like for like – once the footpath has been completed.
- Construction of the pathway will commence Monday 16 September and will be done by contractors. It is expected to take two weeks – coinciding with the school holidays.
- The site will be under traffic control and work will occur from 7am through to 4pm daily.
- Driveways will be open at all times under traffic controllers’ direction.
- Pedestrians will be directed to use alternate pathway on the other side of St Crispins Avenue.
