Water Supply Interruption – Mitre Street
Friday 23rd January 2026 – 09:00am to 10:00am
A one-hour shut down of the water supply on Mitre Street, Port Douglas will take place Friday, 23 January 2026.
It is expected that properties along Mitre Street, including Pullmans Sea Temple Report, will be impacted. The purpose of this shutdown is to upgrade sections of the water main.
As part of Douglas Shire Council’s commitment to increase water security, operational upgrades are
conducted on critical water supply infrastructure for residents throughout the Shire.
