Council recognises the valuable role of the Advisory Committee as a key public participation approach to connect with representatives from the local community, creating an avenue to engage and promote awareness of specific topics, seek community insights, and provide a key conduit point to share information between the Community and Council.

Advisory Committees are established in accordance with section 264 of the Local Government Regulation 2012 (“the Regulation”).

Council has established one Advisory Committee for this term of Council.
