The Port Douglas Markets is a celebrated Cotter’s Market where all goods showcased are created and sold by local and Australian artisans.  Renowned for lovingly made treasures, the Port Douglas Markets is a proud icon of the region.  Protecting and nurturing our Cotter’s Market tradition means enforcing strict policies around stall holder eligibility.

Every Sunday from 8am – 1.30pm

 

Where

Market Park, Port Douglas. Market Park adjoins ANZAC Park and is located on Wharf Street, overlooking the picturesque Dickson Inlet and the Daintree Rainforest.

Getting there

  • A carpark is located adjacent to Market Park, although it can quickly fill up on busy days.
  • Alternative parking can be found along suburban streets or at the Crystalbrook Marina, Port Douglas.
  • Reflecting its natural surrounds, the market grounds are grassed and not equipped with paved pathways. The ground may be uneven in sections and assistance may be required.

Mossman Community Markets

At this relaxed, country market you’ll find fresh produce available for purchase straight from the farmers themselves. You’ll also find beautiful, local organic produce and handcrafted items. Wander through the market stalls positioned under the shady canopy of huge, ancient Raintrees, next to the historic St David’s Church.

Every Saturday from 7am – 1.00pm

Under the Raintrees on Foxton Avenue, Mossman.

  • Accessibility is generally good, with nearby and limited accessible parking available.
  • Reflecting its natural surrounds, the market grounds are grassed and not equipped with paved pathways. The ground may be uneven in sections and assistance may be required.
  • A public accessible toilet is located next to the All Abilities Play Ground opposite the market.
