Animal Management
Fees & charges including dog registrations, animal keeping permits, release and rescue fees.
Applications, Approvals, Permits and Licences
Approvals, permits and licences that can be transferred require an application to be made to Council.
Building, Planning and Plumbing
All fees related to building, planning, plumbing & drainage for residential and commercial properties.
Burials and Cemeteries
Fees and charges are standard to all Council-operated cemeteries unless stated otherwise. View applicable fees & charges.
Caravan Parks
Rates for Council owned Caravan Parks – Mossman and Wonga Beach.
Community Facilities
Hire fees for community facilities including Community Halls, Sugar Wharf, Sporting venues, Mossman Swimming Pool and Flagstaff Hill Telecommunications Tower.
Daintree Ferry
Ticket prices for Daintree Ferry including cars, buses, motorbikes, trailers, machinery, pedestrians and cyclists.
Library Services
Fees related to library services including replacement membership card, photocopying & printing, and meeting room hire.
Nursery – Sale of Plants
Landowners are entitled to six (6) plants per financial year – free of charge. Fees include sale of trees (min order of 50).
Port Douglas Markets
Fees relating to Market Stall space at the Port Douglas Sunday Markets.
Search Fees & Administrative Charges
All fees related to administration and search.
Water & Wastewater
All fees related to water & waste water operation, backflow prevention, liquid trade waste, and standpipe hire.
Waste & Recycling
All fees related to waste & recycling disposal for domestic and commercial users of Council’s transfer stations.
