A FREE workshop for small business owners and community groups to get helpful tips on writing a competitive grant application.
Douglas Shire Council is partnering with the National Drought and North Queensland Flood Response and Recovery Agency to host a grant writing workshop for community groups and small businesses.
Grants are a great way to fund much-needed local infrastructure, events and other activities, and there’s a range of grants available for communities recovering from the 2019 North Queensland flood event and living through the ongoing drought.
A well written application can make a huge difference, but applying can be daunting if you haven’t had much experience.
The workshop will help you understand what’s needed in a grant application, how you can increase your chances of success, and some of the grants you might be eligible for. One-on-one support will also be available afterwards so you can hone your skills.
Registration is essential.
