Resilience Tour: After participating in the Queensland regional resilience strategy project delivered by the State government in 2021-22, Douglas Shire Council wants to apply the regional resilience process on a smaller scale to develop seven local community scorecards.
Residents are invited to participate in a workshop to increase awareness and common understanding of natural hazard risk and improve small scale community resilience. RSVPs are requested for catering purposes and all community members are most welcome to share stories and learn about natural disasters and community resilience.
