The Enviro Co. & Rainforest Rescue have joined forces to hold a tree planting day.
Saturday 27 Nov 2021 – please ensure you arrive by 8am so we will be finished before noon – before it gets too hot.
Where:
Tranquility on the Daintree at 893 Upper Daintree Rd, Daintree. Please do not park at the main gate, instead follow the signs to the regen site, near the cattle yard where you will find better parking and you won’t have to walk as far.
What to bring:
Gardening gloves (new or clean to ensure no cross-contamination), a water bottle (we will provide a water refill station), sturdy closed-toed boots/shoes, sun-safe attire (e.g., hat & sunscreen), face mask (if you wish to wear one) and a willingness to get your hands dirty.
Rainforest Rescue will provide:
First aid kit, healthy snacks, hand sanitiser, gloves & small trowels (locals are welcome to bring their own if they are new or clean), a great location, seedlings, and pre-dug holes.
