Water Supply Interruption

As part of Douglas Shire Council’s commitment to increase water security, operational upgrades are taking place on critical water supply infrastructure for residents throughout the Shire.
A two-hour shut down will take place for properties along: Bougainvillea Street (between Palm Street and Melaleuca Drive), including Allamanda Street, Ocean Avenue, Shalom Close and Thooleer Close.
The purpose of this shutdown is to replace sections of the water main. During works it is expected these streets will have no water on Thursday, 1 May between 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM.
