Council has identified a section of water main located along Syndicate and O’donoghue Roads that needs replacing.
Works will start at O’Donoghue Road intersection and move north of Pollocks Bridge.
JDI Earth Works and Machinery Hire has been awarded the contract and will be starting work early April.
The project is due for completion early May 2025.
The new pipeline will be a robust system aimed at increasing resilience and dependability for the water network.
There may be times when changed traffic conditions will be in place including temporary speed limit reductions, and single lane operation under coordination of traffic controllers. Road users should plan their journey accordingly.
