Planned water supply interruption – Port Douglas

As part of Douglas Shire Council’s commitment to increase water security, operational upgrades are conducted on critical water supply infrastructure for residents throughout the Shire.
We are conducting upgrades to sections of the water network.
This will require a three-hour shut down for properties along Downing Street North, Cascade Drive, Main Drive, Master Crescent, and Fairway Drive.
The purpose of this shutdown is to upgrade sections of the water network.
During the work, it is expected that properties along
Downing Street, Cascade Drive, Main Drive, Master Crescent, and Fairway Drive will have no water.
