Free Kids Fishing Day
A free kids activity day at the Mossman Boating Fishing Club will teach the next generation of anglers how to land a catch while keeping our local fishery thriving. Local families are invited to attend the Fishing For the Future with Kids catch and release event on Saturday 22 June for a morning of fishing, games, prizes and a BBQ. The fun day will be held at the MBFC clubhouse located near the Newell Beach Boat Ramp. The Fishing for the Future Working Group and Douglas Shire Council are organising the event to educate the children about the importance of responsible fishing through a fun morning of activities.
