Time: 9:30 AM
Venue: Port Douglas Community Hall
Conferees: 14

Harmony Week, running from 17 to 23 March, is an Australian Government initiative led by the Department of Home Affairs. This annual celebration highlights the importance of Australian citizenship as a common bond that unites us all, contributing to a cohesive and inclusive society.

The theme for Harmony Week is “Everyone Belongs.” It’s a time to recognise and celebrate the cultural diversity that makes Australia one of the most successful multicultural societies in the world. By coming together, we acknowledge the valuable contributions of people from all backgrounds.

To show your support for cultural diversity and an inclusive Australia, we encourage everyone to wear something orange, the official colour of Harmony Week. Let’s celebrate the many cultures that enrich our community and make Australia a vibrant and welcoming place for all.

We look forward to seeing you at the Citizenship Ceremony and celebrating Harmony Week together!
