There will be short delays to the Daintree Ferry service between 2pm and 7pm tomorrow (𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥 𝟐𝟑). It’s while a mini sand removal is completed off the southern ramp in preparation for upcoming low tides.
This work is tide sensitive and needs to be undertaken on the low tide. There will be short delays during this time, the crew will aim to prioritise traffic as much as possible.
On 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲 (𝟐𝟔 𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥) there’ll be an outage between midday and 2pm as the ferry’s coolant system is replaced.
On 𝐖𝐞𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝟏 𝐌𝐚𝐲 – between midday and 1pm – safety signs will be installed on the navigational poles, requiring an elevated work platform. There will be short delays during this time.
