Cow Bay Transfer Station will resume normal operating hours as of tomorrow – 10am to 4.45pm (Wednesday, December 20).
Council has waived tipping fees at the Transfer Stations for residential disaster waste, which is waste generated as a result of the disaster. It excludes some regulated wastes such as tyres and gas bottles.
Please limit waste to disaster waste only (flood damaged items from inside the house and immediately around the home) and food waste.
Recycling is not currently being accepted.
Site access is limited and initially will be on foot only, so please do not bring any large items until vehicle access has been restored.
