Daintree Transfer Station will re-open tomorrow (Thursday, December 21) from 8.00am to 3.00pm.
Council has waived tipping fees for residential disaster waste at the transfer station, which is waste generated as a result of the disaster. It excludes some regulated wastes such as tyres and gas bottles.
Please limit waste to disaster waste only (flood damaged items from inside the house and immediately around the home) and food waste.
