A community tree planting will take place across the pedestrian beach access points at Port Street and Sand Street on Thursday 16 March.
Members of the public are invited to join the community planting where approximately 700 new trees will be planted.
Community members attending are encouraged to wear suitable clothing and covered shoes. Bring a hat, water bottle, light snack, sunscreen, and insect repellent.
Planting starts at 8am at Port Street pedestrian Beach access.
