Douglas Shire Council advises that its contractor is continuing kerb and channel renewal works at three locations in Mossman and Port Douglas.

Theresa Drive Update
Works on Theresa Drive are approximately 98% complete. Minor finishing tasks remain, including general site tidy-up and the placement and spreading of rubble to level the area behind the kerb.
Driveway crossovers requires a small amount of backfilling, upon completion of these items, all civil works will be finalised.
A street sweeper is scheduled for a final clean in the coming weeks.
Pringle Street Update
Pringle Street is currently approximately 85% complete. Remaining works include the installation of six stormwater kerb inlets, followed by construction of the associated wing sections.
Kerb and channel is now complete in this location, asphalt works will be scheduled closer to stormwater inlet completion.
These works are expected to be completed in the month of July.
Garrick Street Update
Works on Garrick Street are now complete. With the asphalt recently laid, there are no further construction activities planned. Temporary signage, bollards, and associated traffic control measures will be removed shortly.
A street sweeper is scheduled for a final clean in the coming weeks.
