Douglas Shire Council advises that its contractor is continuing kerb and channel renewal works at three locations in Mossman and Port Douglas.

Pringle Street, Mossman

Pringle Street Kerb and Channel Project is nearing completion.

Kerb and channel renewal works have now been completed and stormwater components are being finalised.

Asphalt is scheduled for Monday, 27 July, weather permitting, minor traffic delays are expected but the road will remain open to traffic.

Traffic control measures will remain in place for the duration of works and minor disruptions to traffic could be experienced during business hours.

A street sweeper has been scheduled to undertake a final clean-up following completion of the asphalt works.

 

Garrick Street, Port Douglas

Residents and road users may experience:

  • Traffic control while works are underway
