Council staff will investigate a new location for the two-swing play equipment in Market Park, near St Mary’s By the Sea.
The swing set has been closed due to repeated erosion caused by high tides and an increased risk to public safety.
All of the equipment, including the shade sails, will be transferred to the new location.
The new play equipment located nearby (pictured below) will NOT be impacted by this closure.
