Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 contact tracing in south east Queensland, Council has been advised the Mini Fun Fair due to arrive in Port Douglas for the school holidays on September 17 has been cancelled.

Operators are hoping to return before the end of the year, however a new date is yet to be confirmed.

The Mini Fun Fair, which is part of the regular Port Douglas Carnivale activities, was scheduled to be in town as part of the economic and social recovery measures to re-invigorate the region and provide entertainment.

The cancellation serves as a timely reminder to be vigilant with social distancing practices, wash your hands regularly and get tested if you show any of the signs or symptoms associated with COVID 19.
