Douglas Shire Council is undertaking proactive tree and vegetation management along Alexandra Range to minimize the potential of tree and branch failures during the upcoming wet season.
A recent inspection of Cape Tribulation Road, between Cape Kimberley and Tulip Oak Road, has identified 19 sites of concern.
Work will commence on Thursday, 28 November, and continue Friday, 29 November, with additional work likely to follow before Christmas.
This work is part of Council’s on-going preventative maintenance program designed to improve safety for road users.
