Douglas Shire Council is seeking a Trainee Administration Officer (Maximum Term to April 2027) for the Environment and Planning unit to provide administrative support, helping to achieve Council’s goals and objectives. The role also includes undertaking and successfully completing a Certificate III in Business Administration within a twelve-month timeframe.
- Aged 15 years or older and no longer in school.
- Able to meet citizen, residency and visa requirements to undertake a traineeship.
- Young people (aged 15-24 years), including those in and transitioned from out-of-home care.
- Long Term unemployed job seekers
