Our teams have completed the hard waste cleanup on Front Street in Mossman and are expecting to finish in Mossman by the end of today. Crews have also begun the cleanup in Southarm, with our other cleanup crews mobilising there tomorrow to support the cleanup.
It has been a massive effort so we would like to extend our thanks to our Shire community and our partner agencies for their efforts during this major cleanup task.
On average, our teams are clearing 50 – 60 tonnes of hard waste a day across the Shire, and that wouldn’t be possible without the help of everyone involved.
We understand the inconvenience and difficulty that you are suffering during this difficult time and we thank you again for your support and patience during these challenging time as the cleanup efforts continue across the Shire.
