Notice of Post-Election Meeting of Council, Tuesday 9 April 2024

Notice is hereby given, in accordance with Section 175 of the Local Government Act 2009, the Post-Election Meeting will be held on Tuesday 9 April 2024 commencing at 9:00am at the Council Chambers, 64-66 Front Street, Mossman.

Business to be conducted at the Post-Election Meeting will be:

  • Election Results – 2024 Quadrennial Election
  • Election of Deputy Mayor
  • Ordinary Council Meeting Schedule for Remainder of 2024
  • Appointment of Chair and Deputy Chair – Local Disaster Management Group (LDMG)
  • Mossman Water Intake WISER Funding Application

The Post-Election Meeting will be streamed live, recorded and published on Council’s website for viewing by the public.
