Motorists are reminded that traffic control is in place on Cape Tribulation Rd at the Alexandra Range while crews repair a section of road that was washed away earlier this year.
Traffic control crews have reported several near-misses with motorists who have reportedly run through the red lights that are in place.
Please take care and look for signage when travelling in the area.
The section of road is open to one lane.
