Water supply interruption – Andrews Street, Newell Beach

Douglas Shire Council is upgrading critical water infrastructure in Newell Beach as part of ongoing water security improvements.
To complete this work safely, the water supply will be temporarily interrupted for some properties on Andrews Street.
Even-numbered properties from 4 to 28 Andrews Street are expected to have no water between 9am and 2pm.
Residents are encouraged to store enough water for essential use during the interruption. Water may appear slightly discoloured when the supply is restored. If this occurs, run an outdoor tap for a few minutes until the water runs clear.
Council appreciates the community’s patience while these important works are completed.
