We are seeking a Project Officer to join the Building Facilities Team.
This position is responsible for delivering capital works, renewal, refurbishment and improvement projects across Council’s building and facilities portfolio.
This role manages projects from planning through to completion, including procurement, contractor and consultant coordination, contract administration, budget management and reporting, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and in accordance with quality standards and legislative requirements.
The position also supports long-term asset planning, renewal programs and the continuous improvement of facilities management systems and project delivery practices.
Primary Objectives:
- The Project Officer is responsible for the planning, coordination and delivery of facilities capital works, renewal, refurbishment, upgrade and improvement projects across Council’s building and facilities portfolio.
- The role is responsible for project planning, procurement, contractor and consultant management,
budget monitoring, contract administration and project reporting to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with approved scope, budget, quality standards and legislative requirements. - The position also supports long term asset planning, renewal programming and the continuous
improvement of facilities management systems, project management practices and business processes to strengthen the delivery of Council’s Building Facilities function.
