We are seeking an Ganger Public and Natural Areas to join our team in Port Douglas.
This position will lead the efficient delivery of high-quality maintenance across Council’s public and natural spaces, ensuring resources are used effectively and all work is completed safely, in compliance with workplace health and safety, environmental and quality standards. The role also undertakes routine inspections and reports maintenance issues to support the ongoing presentation and functionality of Council assets.
Primary Objectives:
- Ensure the efficient and effective use of resources in delivering a high quality of presentation.
- Ensure all tasks are completed in adherence to workplace health and safety, environmental and
quality assurance requirements. - Undertake maintenance inspections reporting on all noteworthy aspects.
