Silver and Sunshine Street Parade — Friday 24th May
The corner of Wharf and Macrossan Street will be completely closed to all vehicles from 11 am until 11pm this Friday (May 24).
Macrossan Street, from the Owen St to Wharf St, will be closed to all entering traffic from 2pm.
Vehicles will be allowed to exit the area up until 5:30 pm.
A hard road closure will then be in place until 9.30pm.
This means all vehicles parked on Macrossan St won’t be able to leave until 9:30pm and risk being towed.
Council asks all businesses to inform customers of these restrictions.

Quicksilver Family Beach day — Saturday 25th May
The esplanade from Macrossan St to Mowbray St will be closed to all traffic from 6 am until 4:30 pm.
