Douglas Shire Council, in partnership with Tourism Port Douglas Daintree (TPDD), is pleased to announce the return of the Douglas Card — a seasonal initiative encouraging Far North Queenslanders to explore the region from 1 November through February to support Daintree tourism.
Benefits of the Douglas Card:
- Unlimited free travel on the Daintree Ferry
- Two free adult entry passes to Mossman Gorge
This annual promotion supports regional tourism and invites locals to experience the natural beauty of the Daintree Rainforest and the scenic Great Barrier Reef Drive.
Eligibility: Residents living between Cardwell and Cooktown, including the Atherton Tablelands, are eligible to apply.
Already Applied? If you have previously applied for a Douglas Card, your card remains valid. There is no need to reapply.
Ferry Staff can not issue Daintree Cards at the ferry.
