Douglas Shire Council has arranged for disaster recovery specialist, David Younger to do a return visit to Daintree Village
When: Tuesday 28 May 2024.
Time: 5:30pm to 7:30pm. Free dinner provided after David’s presentation.

David is a natural disaster recovery consultant who, over the past 15 years, has worked first-hand with communities who have been impacted by extreme weather events and natural disasters. Through a blend of storytelling, scientific findings, and real-life experiences, David will talk about common recovery challenges and provide tips and pointers to help people recover better.
Late April, we arranged for David to attend a community meeting in Daintree Village and people found it useful, so we have arranged for a follow up meeting in the evening.
