Council has been monitoring a declining Tabebuia tree located opposite 27 Macrossan Street – the Cotton On shop.
The arborist’s assessment is that the tree is in poor health and there is extensive basal decay. The advice is there no treatment available to enable the tree to remain.
Council has planned for the tree to be removed this coming Wednesday 27 September 2023.
The contractors plan to start work at 7am and be completed and well gone before 8am.
