To enable the installation of the new bridge deck, the temporary side track currently in place on Whyanbeel Road at Causeway No. 1 will be closed to all vehicles and pedestrians from 9am to 1pm on Thursday, 25 June, 2020.
These works were originally scheduled for earlier in the month, however had to be rescheduled due to a conflict in service delivery.
During this time, eight girders, each 18.5 metres in length, will be lifted into place requiring heavy machinery, cranes and excess equipment on site.
