As part of the Warner Street upgrade, Douglas Shire Council is in the midst of replacing critical infrastructure in Port Douglas.
This work will require a three-hour shut down for properties on Mowbray Street, between Owen Street and Grant Street in Port Douglas.
It is expected that all properties between Owen Street and Grant Street will have no water during that time.
It is expected that businesses and homes in the rest of Port Douglas will still have water but may experience low water pressure.
If you require water during the supply shut down period, we recommend you store some water in containers prior to the disruption.
What if I experience a loss of water supply, or a drop in water pressure?
