The design is now completed and Council are closely monitoring for Government Grants to financially assist with the construction stage. (the next Sport & Recreation grant is due out in early 2025)
The Port Douglas Skate Park is nearing the end of its life.
Douglas Shire Council is preparing concept designs to replace the current park and wants to get feedback from users of the skate park.
Council has engaged Trinity Skateparks to do the design and consultants spent a few days in the Douglas Shire in November 2022 talking to users and gathering ideas.
The community are invited to review the two design options and provide feedback.
