THURSDAY, JULY 17 UPDATE:
Due to a change in circumstances with the contractor, Mowbray River Rd at Diggers Bridge will now be re-opened by 5pm tomorrow.
Special arrangements will be in place for the school bus runs so pick up and drop off points will remain as per the usual schedule.

Stabilisation work was completed at Diggers Bridge on Thursday, July 11 and the concrete requires several days to fully cure.
The bitumen is scheduled to be laid Tuesday/Wednesday next week and at this stage, the road is scheduled to reopen by 5pm Wednesday 17 July.
