Douglas Shire Council is seeking a Senior Asset Officer to join the Infrastructure and Recovery department.

The purpose and function of this position is to maintain Councils asset management data, system and processes to ensure infrastructure service levels are delivered in the Douglas Shire through the application of sound asset management principles and practices.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor of Engineering / Asset Management and / or relevant experience.
  • Professional Membership of an asset management related organisation; (or progress towards obtaining).
  • Demonstrated experience in the development, coordination and review of processes, procedures and systems for asset management;
  • Working knowledge of asset management theory.;
  • Demonstrated experience in data management and Graphical Information Systems (GIS);
