Council will be upgrading the Hazardous Waste Storage Shed at the Cow Bay Transfer Station in September 2023. Hazardous wastes such as paint, batteries, spray paint cans, gas bottles and household chemicals, will still be accepted, however you will be directed to an alternative drop off point within the Transfer Station.
The drop off area for reusable items such as books, CDs and kitchenware, referred to as the tip shop or library, will not be available for the duration of the project.
